Since 2017, Stewart Strawbridge has served as managing member of Exchange Street Partners in Portland, Maine, where he acquires, manages, and develops commercial and residential real estate. His work includes leading development projects such as the Casco multifamily community while identifying strategic investment opportunities throughout the Portland market. Since 2000, he has also served as managing member of a private family office, where he oversees capital allocation and long-term investment strategy across a diversified portfolio.
Previously, Mr. Strawbridge co-founded and led Selkirk Management, LLC (Selkirk Partners), a global long/short equity investment firm established in 2008. The firm pursued long-term returns through deep fundamental research, drawing on his background in corporate audits and investment analysis. He focused on mitigating risk by building concentrated portfolios in sectors where he and his partners possessed extensive knowledge and high conviction.
Stewart Strawbridge earned a bachelor of arts in archaeology and classics from Bowdoin College. He also earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and has been affiliated with the CFA Institute and the Philadelphia Security Analysts Society. Through Exchange Street Partners, he has continued to invest in and redevelop properties throughout Portland, Maine, including projects that contribute to the community's long-term growth and vitality.
Mr. Strawbridge has ancestral roots in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and has supported organizations including the Brandywine Conservancy and the Brandywine River Museum. He has also been a longtime supporter of the CURE Hydrocephalus Program and other charitable organizations focused on medical research and environmental conservation. Outside of his professional endeavors, he has maintained a longstanding interest in community development, philanthropy, and preserving the cultural and natural resources of the regions where he lives and works.
